Our mission is to be the best example of professional, educational and community-enriching ecological vegetable production in southeast Michigan. We strive to maintain an environment of discovery where learners can come to explore. We are creating a farm where people can develop a connection to place and a desire to understand and engage in natural systems. We harness the growth of plants and animals to enrich the life of the soil. We are working to complete the cycles of nutrition, water and spirit. Our greatest reward for farming is the work itself: faith in seeds, the giving of water, surrender to the weather, hard work, bringing in a plentiful harvest and helping to nourish and strengthen our community. |
